WHAT ARE WE WITHOUT MOTHERS?

Let’s be honest: If life were a novel, mothers would undoubtedly be the heroes. They are the ones who show up again and again. The ones who never give up, even when things get hard. The ones who always stand by your side, putting your needs before their own. And most importantly, they are the ones without whom our novel could not exist.

In our Community Centres under UCDP mothers were honored on the occasion of Mother's Day 2025.

Motherhood is not just a word. It’s about staying up late to help with homework, remembering everyone’s birthdays, cooking every day, running the household, offering comfort when you need to cry, loving unconditionally—and doing a thousand things more, often without being asked or thanked. To honour the incredible work women do every day, we took time in each of our centres to celebrate all the mothers—and all the women—who are raising and shaping our children and students. Handmade Mother’s Day cards and roses were prepared and shared with every woman in the room. We created a warm, joyful, and deeply heartfelt atmosphere.

Children and students expressed their love and gratitude through songs, dances, and rhymes, turning the celebration into a moment of genuine appreciation and togetherness. After the performances, everyone came together to enjoy cold drinks, and snacks, prepared by our team and volunteers. It wasn’t just a celebration—it was a moment of connection, gratitude, and community. Many mothers expressed how touched they were to be seen and celebrated in such a heartfelt way.
