Volunteer Engagement

We are offering people opportunities to get involved in our society shaping work. Young Indians are invited to join the team as volunteers and practically contribute to our work. Similarily, we also invite young people form Germany to become part of our team as a so-called 'weltwaerts volunteer'.

Become a Volunteer

We constantly motivate young people to become a part of our work for the society. There are ample opportunities to get some hands-on experiences as a volunteer in the many activities of our organisation.

weltwaerts volunteering

YMCA Ranchi is a partner organisation in the German Federal Volunteering Program called 'weltwärts'. Through this, young people from Germany can join the team for a certain time and make valuable life-time experiences contributing to our work in the social sector. As the program works in both directions, young Indians can also apply for 'South-North volunteering' in a social institution in Germany.
