Urban Community Development (UCDP)

Providing Assistance in the fields of Education, Health, Youth Work, Women Empowerment in six urban slums of Ranchi, reaching out to around 8,000 persons per year - aiming at enabling them to live a life in dignity and contributing to communal peace and harmony in the society. 

Educational Scholarship Project
Status: ONGOING   I   Location:   CHAIBASA

Striving towards the goal of Equal educational opportunities for children of economically disadvantaged families - 30 children are part of the educational scholarship project and receive assistance in their education from class 1 to class 12.

Kindergarten Little Steps
Status: ONGOING   I   Location:   RANCHI

Together with our friends and partners from Germany we are planning to open our new Kindergarten Playschool at YMCA City Branch to offer little children a place to play, learn and grow.

Improving the Preschool Section at YMCA Public School Kantatoli
Status: COMPLETE   I   Location:   RANCHI

To further improve the important function of the Preschool Section at YMCA Public School this project aimed on upgrading the existing infrastructure like classrooms and playrooms, toys and learning tools.

Improvement of Infrastructure at YMCA Public School Dhurwa
Status: COMPLETE   I   Location:   RANCHI

In this project the YMCA Public School at Dhurwa was equipped with new material for the library, science and computer labs to make studying more fun.
