Educational Scholarship Project
EQUAL EDUACATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
Striving towards the goal of equal educational opportunities for children of economically disadvantaged families - 30 children are part of the educational scholarship project and receive assistance in their education from class 1 to class 12.
We want to ensure that our scholarship programme gives children from vulnerable backgrounds the same opportunities to attend and complete school.
The scholarship helps ease the financial burden on the children’s families by covering the costs of school fees, textbooks copies and stationary items, as well as school uniforms, and, where necessary, additional private tuition.
About the Project
In and around Chaibasa (Jharkhand), YMCA Ranchi runs an educational scholarship project supporting children that otherwise could not go to school due to financial constraints and their family situation.
The assistance provided covers things like the school fees, books and copies, stationary items, school dresses and additional tuitions.
