Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
YMCA Vocational Training Centre was established in the year 1984. In the beginning it was a centre which provided non-formal skill development trainings to the drop out and unemployed youth.
Later a Kindergarten school was started to provide quality primary education to the children from middle class and lower middle class. By the grace of God, the YMCA Vocational Training Centre and the school became popular, and the number of students started increasing rapidly.
At present this centre has Vocational Training Centre, a full-fledged formal English Medium School (YMCA Public School) and an Auditorium with capacity of 500 people. All the departments are doing well and contributing to the growth of YMCA Ranchi. The total number of staff in all the three departments is 37.
YMCA Public School Kantatoli
During the academic session 2023-24 the no. of students was 273 from classes Nursery to Class VIII. Debate, Drawing, Reading, Writing, Speech, Spelling, Fancy Dress, Patriotic Dance, Art & Craft Exhibition, Science Exhibition and Song Competition, Rangoli Competition (sponsored by Union Bank), Annual Sports, Christmas Gathering and other co-curricular activities were organized for different classes in regular intervals.
Parents'-Teachers' meeting was held in regular intervals to appraise the parents about the performance of their wards in the school. For the physical development of the students Yoga and Karate classes are conducted under the guidance of experts.

(i) Typing (ii)Tailoring and Embroidery (iii) Computer Courses (iv) Tuition classes (V) English Stenography (vi) Hindi Stenography
(vii) Fabric Painting (viii) Karate (ix) Yoga (x) Table Tennis.
Number of student during the year 2023-24 was 86.
Our computer section is practical based and everyday we are running three batches. All the batches were almost full during the year.
YMCA Auditorium Kantatoli
The auditorium is used for Seminars, Workshops, Receptions, Meetings, Prayer Meetings, etc. and has a capacity of 500 people.
